Collection of early folk music source material

I found this book while kicking around Wikipedia today. It seems to contain a lot of ballads that would later become American Folk songs.

This looks like a pretty cool collection. I've always been a fan of the early Robin Hood and Arthurian legends. The modern retellings usually don't do the stories justice. Of course, Old English isn't the easiest thing in the world to read either.

Nifty stuff though, thanks. :)

Oh, and if I can make a suggestion. Your blog is all about sports and rock... two subjects I know nothing about. Where's the games? I was hoping for session reports and reviews. :)

Oh, and I still feel bad for reneging on our deal during Caylus the other week. I should have spent my gold as promised regardless of it being effective or not. When we made the deal I didn't see that outcome. Won't happen again.

Back when we played Mare Nostrum I built up quite a reputation for being untrustworthy in negotiations. I've been trying to fix that but occasionally I fall back into my evil ways.

Hawksbill, it's quite alright. I was not in any sort of postion to win anyway. I think Paul was more freaked out about than I was. I was going to move the thing anyway, so biggie. I'll get to work on more game stuff ASAP. I'm gonna write something about Hannibal tonight.
